hey doc , Is it ok to brush teeth after a normal delivery,does it loose my teeth?My mother is refusing me to brush my teeth .

AbhayaMom of a 15 yr 10 m old boy1 Year agoA. Hello there ma’am please do not worry about it too much. It is not advisable to brush teeth with toothbrush upto one week of delivery as the gums are soft and may bleed. But you can apply toothpaste on your finger and rub your teeth and gums gently. Also you can do gargles with mouthwash and squish your mouth with it. Thanks and take care
