Q.
Helo sir /mam I have a 2 month old baby...and In a day his right leg started to shake (kind of shivering) for a about 5 sec and stops.. It is not frequent but yes I am catching it sometimes.... What wud be the reason?

Author of questionMom of a 3 yr 11 m old boy3 years agoA. thank u so much Doctor...milk ia not secreting for me and I am providing powder milk 😑😣 maybe he is not getting better nutrion it seems... can u suggest anything for his calcium improvement until we provide solid food for him

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy3 years agoA. shivering in newborn can be due to startle reflex and less likely due to calcium deeficiency. kindly continue to give breastfeeding to the child and take a video of the shivering and meet your doctor who will tell you whether it is normal startle reflex or it is due to hypocalcemia.
