helo dr maine apne baby ka abhi 4 days pehle 3.5 month ka vaccination hua 4 days hogaye lekn abhi bhi uske left leg mai bohot pain horaha hai wo apne left leg ko hila bhi nai raha pls suggest me why aisa horaha hai

Post vaccination swelling may be a common thing specially after DPT vaccine which may be painful for two or three days and the swelling may remain even up to month so if it is not causing any pain or other symptoms nothing to worry. Swelling can be reduced by giving ice fomenfttation locally and paracetjamol can be given for fever or pain. Thrombophobe ointment can be applied in acute pain and swelling .

NikithaMom of 2 children2 years agoA. hello keeping an icepack over the area can be helpful and any concern then it is better to check with your doctor and your doctor will be able to guide you better on examination of the same and advise you accordingly which is better and also safe too
