Helloo.. My son os age of 22months suffering from cold and cough since morning...what syrups should i use??

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Cough along with Cold most of the time is a viral illness and it needs supportive care along with proper hydration. you can give steam inhalation which is very useful .
cough needs to be treated with anti allergic and expectorant bronchodilators or antitussives medhuicine which should be given only agfter a proper evaluation by the doctor according to the type of cough.
if fever is there paracetamol can be given to reduce the fever and the dose can be repeated after 6 hours again if required .

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy3 years agoA. kindly give syrup allegra 2.5 ml twice daily and syrup asthalin 3 ml twice daily.
give nasal saline drops in the nasal cavdity every 3 hourly and give indirect steam inhalation. if the child doesn't improve in next two and a half days then kindly meet your doctor axnd give warm water to drink.
