A. For an 18-month-old, you can introduce a variety of nutritious foods to support healthy weight gain. Consider offering foods rich in healthy fats and proteins such as avocado, nut butters (if no allergy risk), yogurt, cheese, eggs, lean meats, and fish. Incorporating whole grains like oats, quinoa, and whole wheat bread can also provide energy and nutrients. Additionally, include plenty of fruits and vegetables to ensure a well-rounded diet. Always supervise and monitor their eating habits, and consult with a pediatrician for personalized advice.
