Hello there, My wife is having thyroid problem and she had taken thyroid medicine throughout pregnancy. These are medicine she took. Thyroxine sodium 37.5mg Budecort 200 Now my 1 month baby’s report also showing thyroid in TSH more than limit. Should my wife continue tablet or what is alternate? Thank you

A. Sir it’s very common to be seen with women having thyroid it is not contagious that your child is going to have thyroid because your wife has an initial if you look at 90% of the kids will have higher thyroid level levels avoid giving medicine monitor for six months then take a test again don’t just start doing anything from your own side even for your wife if she has to she has to talk with Dr
