Q.

Hello there, my baby girl is 11months old, she has mucus in her throat, and voice not coming..unable to sleep with cough and feeling discomfort with mucus in throat..can any one advise if any medicine/home remedy to clear her Thorat? thank you

A. just try to prevent temperature variations around the child and give nasal saline drops in the nasal cavity every three hourly which will help in decreasing the mucus and give warm water to drink

A. Hello dear parent, you just give steam to your baby for few minutes and several times in a day. As steam actually helps in opening up nasal passages and also clears congestion of the baby. But if baby still remains uncomfortable then must consult with your paediatric for medicine. Do not give medicine on your own
