Q.

hello There, iam 27weeks of pregnant,I have severe pain at pubic bone since 19weeks of my pregnancy.I can walk and sit easily but I can't able laying on bed/floor and not able to turns sides, whenever I tried to trun sides I have much & more pain. pls suggest me how to get rid of this pain.

A. I am not a doctor, but I guess its pubic symphysis, which i still have after an year of giving birth. In most cases it gets better after few weeks of delivery. But yes it might get worst before it gets better. You might experience increase in pain towards your delivery date In my case it started in the 7th month and by 9th month i was not able to lie down or turn sides, or walk freely, it felt the bone will break any moment. Whenever I would get up from bed , I would stand for few minutes, to alleviate the pain, then I would take a step forward. Easiest was sitting position. Try to keep pillow between your knees when you lie, it might reduce the pain.

See The body is growing which is my doctors also do not advise you to sit on your bed or floor it’s not healthy for a pregnant woman that way apart from that if the pain is continuous then you should consult your doctor ones and you should try to sleep in the 3/4 position as that is going to be better for you
