Hello Sir. My kid is 11 months and 10 days right now. Can we give cow milk instead of formula milk. He is on similar 2 right now

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children4 years agoA. Cow's milk should be introduced to the child only after 1 year of age . Earlier introduction of cowcs milk can lead to micro bleeding in the digestive tract. It's also deficient in iron vit E,C and essential fatty acid... It's also lacking ideal proportion of protein and fats present in breast milk or any formula milk .

Hi mommy Yes you can give after one year Give two liquid diet followed by BM or formula milk Give seasonal fruits vegetables cereals mashed potato mashed banana Wash hands often before touching your baby Burp well after every feeding Try to keep head up position while feeding
