Q.

hello sir, my daughter is 2 month old and have white patches on her upper jaw.. thatswhy she is unable to take bottle's 'nipple. I can see her pain.plz do something.

A. this pattern can be seen due to fungal infection in the oral cavity of the child. many timess it may be associated with either bottle feeding or usage of antibiotics in children. it is important to differentiate between stuck milk inside the oral cavity and the fungal infection that is also known as oral thrush. meet your doctor for examination of the child and treatment

A. If you notice cracked skin around your baby's mouth, or white patches on her tongue, lips, or anywhere else inside her mouth, it might be thrush. Discomfort or pain when feeding can also be a sign of oral thrush.speak to your paediatrician once for same
