It is important that you feed him a balanced diet. Try feeding semi solid food which are easy to swallow like chunkier mixed vegetable soup, vegetable khichdi, oats, dalia, porridge, custard, milkshakes with dry fruits, stuffed parantha, besan cheela, idli-dosa with sambhar, legumes, paneer, curd, buttermilk, coconut water, fresh juices, etc. Make eating a fun time instead of force feeding. Serve in a kiddie bowl, plate or cup with a straw. Feed in a separate room, away from distractions.
