Hello sir my baby is 67days old her hand where the BCG vaccine is given became swelling since yesterday and she is crying when we touch that area.will that lead to any complication

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 7 m old boy3 years agoA. bcg vaccination which is given at birth in the upper arm will form a swelling by one or maximum two months and then it will burst open and then pust will come out from it and after that it will become a scar mark. you have to take medical consultation if it days causing pain fever angd discomfort to the child. also if the pus discharge is increasing or aggravating again you have to meet the doctor and locally you can apply t bact cream.
