Hello sir my baby is 6 months old .. he has black colour in his stool ..so we went for an stool test in which occult blood is present ..is there anything to worry about it ?

A. it can be due to some infection.. make sure you are giving only breastfeed to the child... take medication as advised by your doctor.. maintain hygiene.. strictly avoid cow milk till completion of one year
