My 9 months old daughter went for stool examination..the result is occult blood positive..what does this means

A. If the blood is positive then it’s mostly a stomach infection because when blood is present into the motion of the child that usually indicates an infection is the tummy for that you can check with your doctor as a course of antibiotics would be required for the same and which is what is going to be beneficial

Q. I have 4 month old baby. She had poop 3 to 4 times like watery with yellow with green colour. She takes feeds well and gain weight adequately. But some times a blood spot will seen in her poop. We checked stool occult blood and its positive. Antibiotics taken and after completion of course resend stool occult blood then the result shown occult blood positive. Is this normal.
