Hello Sir My baby aged 3 months old is suffering from cough.from last 5 days.I am giving him Solving Cold drops but he didn't recover yet.Its Summer season and in he sweats in this hot temperature without ac or high speed fan.What should I do.

A. Cold is most of the time because of viral illness and if the child is having recurrent running nose and nasal congestion it may be a part of allergic rhinitis also so it needs a proper examination. steam inhalation will be beneficial in both the cases along with decongestant medicine like alex cold/ hatric 3/ sinarest.gf As a part of viral illness there could be associated symptoms like cough and fever which needs treatment accordingly along with a proper hydration needs to be maintained .
