Hello Sir/ Madam My baby is 8 months old and his weight is 7.8 kg. I wana ask is he underweight. for increasing weight can I give him banana.

ExpertDr. Minal AcharyaNutritionist3 years agoA. Dear parent, weight of 7.8 kg is absolutely normal for 8 months old baby, do not worry. Baby should double the birth weight by 6 months and triple the birth weight by one year. You can give banana to your baby. Give other fruits as well.
