Q.

Hello sir/ma'am, my daughter is now 25 months old and all she can speak is nursery rhymes and answers to the questions like "what does the dog say".. and follows instructions like "go get your shoes" she can tell whole rhymes and utter words without any issue.. but she doesn't call mummy, daddy.. she recognises us when shown in photographs.. when asked she says daddy and mummy.. but doesn't communicate through words.. I am trying to talk to her by kneeling down to her height and she listens to it but doesn't respond yes or no.. is it a cause of concern?

A. you can wait till 3 years of age of the child to speak in complete sentences clearly and flumlently if its not so then consult doc, keep interacting more dont worry if other milestones are normal . . .
