hello sir I want to know my son is new born if he will get vaccination in 2.5 month is there changes of getting fever and for how long he will get fever ?

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy1 Year agoA. when fever and pain comes after vaccination you can give paracetamol to the child for fever as well as pain.
paracetamol can be given maximum 4 times per day.
you can also apply ice over the injection site.
if there is local swelling you can apply ice as well as thrombophob gel.s
vaccine fever usually subsides in max 2 to 3 days but if it continues beyond 3 days meet your dr to rule out any other causes of fever

yes , Child can get fever as reaction to Vaccination
but it should be subsided by 3-4 days after Vaccination
you may give paracetamol drops to cure this
