Hello sir.. I'm breast feeding mother of 1 year baby.. My weight is not gaining... what can I do for weight gain? can I get any supplementary powder?

A. Hi, since you’ll be breastfeeding please avoid taking any supplements. Instead you can take five meals in a day. Make your own timetable so that you can cover different type of pulses, veggies, fruits so that you get all the nutrients equally. And take adequate liquid and keep yourself hydrated. You can start with yoga which is the best practice to keep yourself fit post delivery. Continue the iron and calcium supplements until one year as will be breastfeeding it is very important. Take adequate liquid like buttermilk, fresh fruit juice, coconut water, water and keep yourself hydrated.Write Your Answer Here
