A. Hi..please make sure that you drink enough water and u have enough sleep....i know how new borns take all your sleep time ...but from my personal experience ..lack of proper sleep will reduce breast milk .....dont worry ...dont stress out...both of you are going to be just fine...my doctor had suggested me to have lots of milk and milk products like curd etc...it will help increase breast milk and also make sure you have enough calcium supply for u and your baby.....this is my personal experience hope it helps...

A. Hi, The key is to feed frequently which will in turn increase your milk supply. Milk secretion increases based on demand. So more and more your baby tries to feed your milk supply will increase. Frequent pumping also helps in increasing milk. Have garlic, garlic milk Fenugreek seeds jeer a water nuts oats green leafy vegetables ridge gourd bottle gourd pulses pumpkin dairy products etc in your daily diet. Also check with your gynecologist and get somesupplements like galact garnaules prescribed. It helps in increasing breast milk. Also, If brestfeed is not sufficient for the baby. you can start giving formula milk to the baby. Formula milk is the alternative of brestfeed. There are many good brands like nan, lactogen, similac etc. Consult your pediatrician to know which formula milk suits your baby and fulfills the requirements. Take care.
