Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. if can be used with precaution You can use diapers but of very good quality for example premium pampers, baby hug ,mothercare etc. but diaper free interval is important. it will be better to use a good cream like ezinapi cream before making the baby wear a diaper or for rashes. cotton diapers can also be used, it may help in reducing the diaper rash if any.
Shaista TarannumMom of a 16 yr 5 m old boy3 years agoA. the duration for which babies wear a diaper can vary from one baby to another. some wear upto 1 or 2 years which is common but some babies wear it longer. depends on well the baby gets potty trained and how soon.
Change the diaper every 2-3 hours.
You will have to change it every time it gets wet or soiled immediately and clean the area with water. Pat dry after that.
Use a good quality rash cream or coconut oil every time you change the diaper.apply a thick layer of diaper cream.
Give diaper free time to your baby for a rew minutes everyday.
Also try to use cloth nappy during the day and diaper at night or whenever required occasionally.
Use the right sized diaper. Baby will be uncomfortable in a too big or too small diaper. Use super absorbent disposable diapers. Use a good brand diaper that will soak up well and not make the baby feel uncomfortable.
Make sure you keep the diaper area clean and dry. Clean skin with baby wipes or water and pat dry.
