Hello, Please tell me, Can I give bath to my 17 months old baby after giving Polio drops.. I already gave him bath 2 times but everyone is telling that I shd have given.. Thank You

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. All the vaccination should be given according to the vaccination schedule whether the government or IAP schedule you can discuss with your pediatrician regarding the details of th!tre vaccination.
Pulse polio immunization programme is provided by the government to all children below 5 years of age. if your child has received polio vaccine before then also you should give this vaccine on the the pulse polio day as this is an additional vaccine.

After vaccination you have to wait at least 20 to 1 and hour gap. And after that you can give a bath to your baby just totally fine. It is not a city that you don’t have to provide a bath to your baby after vaccination so you don’t have to worry about it at all
