Q.

Hello my son is of 14 months, his stool is very hard and sometymes he dont poop for a day and even if he poops very small but its very foul smelled and even passes foul smell gas.. since he doeant eat so much fibre rick foods is there any stool softener i can give him... pls suggest

A. it is o nk for the baby . Potty may be tight and difficult to pass during infancy and it is normal for a baby to pass motion on 2 to 3 days and may be up to 7 days . No need of any medication for this . Glycerine suppository can be used for lubrication .
