Hello my son is 6 months has cold and cough from last 3 days Dr prescribed me ambrodril drops 0.6ml and wikoryl 0.6ml thrice a day but cough is going to continue… congestion h garr garr halki awaz b h. Plz suggest what I do jaldi thik ho jy

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children1 Year agoA. Cough and Cold along with the symptom like Fever loss of appetite irritability could be a feature of viral infection or seasonal flu where most of the time supportive treatment is givven.
along with that cough expectorant and decongestant with antiallergic medicine given.
steam inhalation can be given frequently to relieve the symptomms.

Say along with the medication if you nebulise your child that is going to help you can use regular saline water on any medicine suggested by the doctor that helps in clearing the congestion and it would be easier for your child to cope up with the infection that’s there
