Q.

Hello, My son is 26 days old….i usually feed him for 30-40 mins as per my pediatrician . But now he just take feed for 12-15 mins max. Tired everything to make him awake n and full-fill his hunger. But he fall sleepy.please let me know is there any problem if he didn’t feed for long? Or any tricks to make feeding duration.

A. it differ with babies capacity. Different babies has different tymings of feeding.

A. 15 minutes actually is more than enough for a child see you to understand initially kids don’t have very good latching capacity but over the progressing is they get better at doing it which is by the feeding time reduces you cannot force your child to take feeding for 40 minutes because the doctor has suggested they take their own time and then they go to sleep if your child is gaining weight properly then there is no problem

A. Hello my dear parent! As long as your baby is healthy and active, gradually gaining weight, passing adequate urine 6 to 8 times daily, there is nothing to worry about the feeding time. Continue to exclusively breastfeed, baby on demand for better health, nutrition, hydration, and weight gain. Keep Babyhug tummy roll on handy
