Q.

Hello, My son is 14 months old. He has got cold. Please let me know if I can give Maxtra syrup. There are 2 variations of it, Maxtra and Maxtra P. But Ihave got the 1st one. Can I give that? If yes, then kindly let me know the dosage

A. go for maxtra you can go for home remedies like tulsi ginger honey (add honey if child is more than 1 year of age) combination which can be diluted with water and given frequently to the child. also u can give turmeric with warm milk one or two times everyday. give warm water to drink as well as nasal saline drops frequently. try to prevent ttemperature variations around the child that is from hot to cold and cold to hot environment. keep the child well covered. if the palms and soles of the child are cold then the child is feeling cold and you have to take preventive measures to make the child warm

A. If It is the paediatric version of the medicine that you are talking about and you can give it 1.5 ML twice a day to your child because this is specifically for cold issues it’s quite an antiallergic one that you can go for so the dosage is going to be 1.5 ML twice a day for three days
