Hello, My son has got fever three days back i.e 7Jan. the fever has come down on 8th jan.. but today suddenly again started from afternoon.. after giving calpol 250mg it's not coming down..

Author of questionMom of 3 children3 years agoA. how much dose can be given...calpol 250 mg.. his weight is 14kg.. And is it safe to give Meftal p syrup??

Fever is a response of the body to any kind of infection or any inflammatory process in body so you can give paracetamol in a dose of 15 mg/kg/dose as the first line treatment also this dose can be again repeated after every 5 to 6 hours if fever is repeatiihng. and you can also do cold sponging of the body if required
