Q.
Hello. My daughter is of 18 months and she is not eating anything. It's been few days she is just eat three to four morsels of food and after that she cries a lot. If we try to feed her after that she cries so much that she pukes out the food that she has eaten. Please could you advise what can be the potential reason for this as we believe she has also lost weight.

ExpertDr.Sabiha AnjumObstetrician and Gynaecologist3 years agoA. check the oral cavity and see if there are any ulcers anywhere on the tongue or inside of the mouth. also check for any enlarged tonsils which might be causing difficulty for the baby to swallow

it might happen because of teething, Mouth ulcers or stomach upset.
so ,give soft food like khichdi , rice fruits etc
don't force feed or overfeed your child.
keep your child well hydrated.
