A. Hai Dear Mom, please don't worry about this. this is normal in babies. this is because thermoregulation is not properly developed in babies and thermoregulation regulates the internal body temperature. this can happen because of outside temperature, too much clothes on baby, teething, depends on babies mood swings too when they are so much excited and crying and it also depends on babies sleeping position. because when they sleep based on thier postion there will be increase in blood circulation. u can take follow this measures if u find your baby's head is hot even when there is no fever. 1. Make sure your baby is in cool environment 2. Make your baby to wear cotton clothes. 3. Frequently change your baby's sleeping position. 4.Make sure your room have proper ventilation. 5. If your baby is too excited or crying make your baby calm through lullaby and cuddle them. 6. if your baby is under teething process provide them teeth soother so that they will feel better. You should see doctor only if your baby's head is hot due to fever, inactive, dehydration, if your baby is under two years and feels head very very hot and try above steps if it's not working then you should see the doctor.

A. it is very normal for small children to have slightly warm/hot head palms and soles but if the grrowth of the child is proper no need to worry about the warm head palm and soles. you have to to consider it as fever only if the temperature in the armpit is 100f or more. the warm head palms and soles are due to hyperdynamic circulation in these areas which is normal.
