Q.

hello. my daughter is 27months old. since the last month she has been having cold on and off. the doctor has advice to take levocet syrup 2.5ml once a day for 5 - 7 days and montair 2mg chewable tablet for 15 days. just wanted to ask if anyone has used montair (montelukast) for their kids and is it safe to give. thank you

A. It is a mild antibiotic that can be given to the child once in a day in the night before sleeping and it is totally safe to be given which is why your doctor has prescribe so you can go ahead with what your doctor is recommending to give as of now
