Hello, My daughter is 14 months old and her weight is 8.6kgs.2months ago her weight was 9.5kgs nd 15 days before she was 8.8 and now she is 8.6. I'm concerned why her weight is decreasing instead of increasing.

POOJA KOTHARIMom of a 8 yr 10 m old boy3 years agoA. When growing kids don't gain weight as they should, it is called "failure to thrive." Failure to thrive is not a disease or disorder itself. Rather, it's a sign that a child is undernourished. In general, kids who fail to thrive are not getting enough calories to grow and gain weight in a healthy way.
