hello my child is 4 yrs old and his weight is 12 kg we have done all tests harmone tests also all the reports are normal but he is not gaining weight what to do

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 9 m old boy2 years agoA. it is important for you to know that the weight of the child depends upon the genetic patterns and by that pattern only the weight gain in child is seen. it also depends upon the diet the child is taking. so it is advisable that you should meet the doctor who will tell you whether there is anything to worry or not and whether the child requires any health supplements. the child should be given different flavours and recipes made from cereals pulsesf vegetable milk and fruits daily in small amount. you can add ghee groundnuts dryfruits in the diet and this will help in improving the weight of the child. you can go through many recipes for children in different flavour and taste for your child on firstcry

RashmiMom of a 11 yr 4 m old girl2 years agoA. Start with iron and multivitamin supplement and increase the intake of proteins both vegetarian and non-vegetarian for the child probably which is what is going to be quite beneficial in the current situation situation for the child
