Q.

Hello, my baby was 3.7 kg during birth, she is 5 months now and she is just 6.5 kg, she weighed 6 kg in her 3rd month , she gained just 500 grams in 2 months.. I am worried about her weight whether she is growing well or not, otherwise she is very active and happy baby.

A. Dear mum, your child’s weight of 6.5 kg is absolutely normal at 5 months, do not worry. Also, your child being active and happy indicates good health. For healthy weight gain, exclusively breastfeed your child till 6 months complete.
