Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 9 m old boy4 years agoA. gastroesophageal reflux disease also known as g e r d is very common problem in small children less than 6 months of age and it ddoes not have any permanent treatment and the problem decreases with increasing age of the child and the important thing is that you have to keep the child in upright position for more duration for which gerd chairs are available and at the same time you have to continue and tested medicines given by the doctor

always burp after feed..
don't immediately put the baby on bed after feed..
keep baby in upright position and gently rub the baby back for some time..
give small feeds..
maintain gap between feeds..
