Q.

Hello my baby one year old was prescribed cholecalciferol granules once a week.. now I have bought it but the pharmacist have given calcuquick d3 which is 60k iu … can I give this high dose to my baby at this age.? Or what dose I should give to my baby. Is this correct or I should exchange it with lower dose.? Please help thank you

A. it is the same medicine and no need to change the medicine because when you are given once a week then this much dosage needs to be given when the child is suffering from vitamin d deficiency
