Q.

Hello , my baby is 8 months old but he is not sitting independently yet so do we have to worry about this and what can be done to achieve this milestone

A. sitting without support and crawling in children may sometimes come after one year of age also. if the growth of the child is proper no need to worry. just take care of regular diet and baby massage which will help in strengthening the muscles needed for sitting and crawling. u in some cases crawling may be abseunt in children and directly the child will begin to stand with support and later walk with support and then without support. take a medical check up done to confirm if there is need of any intervention.

Give it about 15 more days if still you see that your child is not sitting independently then I would recommend you to once get a check with your doctor because expect the child to learn to sit independently by the age of eight months so you can consult a doctor if it is needed thenWrite Your Answer Here
