Saba SamreenMom of a 5 yr 1 m old girl4 years agoA. Hello,
By 6 months baby is supposed to be weighing at least twice of what the baby’s birth weight was. In your case, baby has doubled birth weight but still is on the underweight side. Try to feed baby on demand and evry 2-3 hrs if baby doesnt feel hungry. Consult a doc who will suggest you if formula is needed in addition to breastmilk. Also if breastfeeding try to feed for at least 10-15 mins on one side before you switch to the other side.
