A. for lactose intolerance you will have to give lactose free milk to the child. it can be either soya milk (isomil / zerolac) or milk preparations which does not contain lactose. meet your doctor who can guide you regarding the available preparations. if the child is having dehydration you can give ors also. whenever there is confusion regarding the treatment given by your doctor and if you are not satisfied with the answers you can always take a second opinion of another doctor of the same field. weather a particular investigation or treatment is proper or not can be confirmed ondly after taking relevant history and doing proper examination of the child which will be done by the second doctor.
