Q.
hello my baby is 12 days old. she poops a little with every fart. Is it normal? and she feeds for 10 min and after every hour. is it normal? her weight at the time of birth was 2.5 kg

PriyankaMom of a 1 yr 6 m old girl1 Year agoA. Hi, yes its very nromal for baby to poop with fart as they dnt have control on their rectal muscles.
I can't comment on milk situation, my LO didnt do that, however if you are exclusively breastfeeding it can happen, just make sure your baby' stomach is full, looks satisfying after every meal, and playful whenever they are awake.
as your baby is 12 days, they might have lost some weight no need to worry its water weight all babies loose it, she/he will soon start gaining weight.

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy1 Year agoA. if the consistency of the stool is normal that is semi solid to solid there is no need to worry about the frequency of the stool.
the frequency can vary for 4 to 5 times per day and sometimes the child will not pass stool forx few days also.
also do no worry about colour and smell of the stool when stool consistency is semisolid to solid.
you have to meetx the dr only if it is totally watery stool or it is hard stool or the child is having pain while passing the stool.
