Q.

Hello, my baby is 1 year and 1 month old. She weighs 6.86 kg, which is less than the expected 10 kg as per the chart. Even though I’m giving her a variety of healthy foods like fruits and vegetables, her weight is still low. But she is active and strong. Is this okay, or should I consult a doctor?

A. A lot of time despite of eating well and having a good diet kids don’t gain weight because of digestion related issues and sometimes due nutritional deficiency which is the weight is approximately 3 1/2 kg less I believe it’s good for you to consult your doctor once
