Q.

hello.. my baby is 1.6y old.. and she does all activities using left hand like drawing scribbling and even while playing she make use of left hand ..is she is a lefty? is it normal? or should i change it ?

A. hello, don't worry if your kid is using Left hand and your kid is totally active then there is no problems. most children start showing a clear preference for one hand or the other around age 3 year. as per the study I learned right hand always better as compared left hand.

A. no.. it's normal.. baby upto the age of 4 years use both their hands ... even my baby doll use both the hands to write.. and he can write well by both the hands.. their preference for one hand over the other day after the age of 4 years... till then they will try to use both their... you should not focus on developing one hand and reducing the use of other hand. you should encourage the use of both the hands... don't change anything. . let her develop in her own way.. always keep encouraging her... don't discourage her to use particular hand...

A. hand preference depends on what side of brain is more active. Being a left handed is as normal as being a right handed. Let her use the preferred hand as there is no harm.in doing so.

A. she is a lefty and it completely normal. will not affect her in either way. just make sure to pick out stuff for her that are designed for lefties to not cause discomfort
