Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 6 m old boy4 years agoA. then the next step would be a stool examination as well as a medical examination and the doctor may prescribe zinc and probiotics and other medicines if required

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 6 m old boy4 years agoA. for different types of infections there are different types of antibiotics and if it is a viral infection then no antibiotics will be required by a child kindly give ORS for every episode of loose motion and give simple diet made from rice dal and khichdi curd buttermilk apple banana and the natural probiotics from the curd will help in decreasing the loose motion and if it is not improving in one or two days then kindly meet your doctor. also you cannot give outside milk to the child and you cannot give cerelac also but you can continue to give breastfeeding if going on for next few days
