ExpertDr. Minal AcharyaNutritionist4 years agoA. Dear mum, for healthy weight gain of your 8+ months old baby, give homemade balanced diet having variety of food groups especially seasonal fruits and vegetables even green leafy vegetables.
You can give eggs and non veg foods. Add powdered nuts like almonds to baby’s food. Add ghee to every meal and squeeze lemon wherever possible.
Continue to breastfeed and give milk products like curd, paneer, cheese.
Give top food 3 to 4 times a day and up to half katori every time.

U Can start with egg yellow after the age of 8 pounds chicken and fish can be introduced after the age of 9 to 10 months so as of now start giving yellow part to the child at least every day and consult a nutrition expert your child is quite underweight according to the age the doctor would be able to advise you correctly
