hello, mera baby boy hain 2 yr. ka or kuch 1month se usko cold chal hi raha hain kabhi aisa lagta hain thik ho gaya par morning running nose even mere liye sabse badi tention bache ka khana peena bhut kam ho gaya hain kuch bhi thik se ni khata plz suggest kya karu or chidchida bhut jyda ho gaya eyes ke niche red ho raha lagta hain jaise swelling hain but apne aap thik ho jati hain

A. thank you sir khana peena bhut kam ho gaya bhut mushkil se thoda bhut khata hain weight bhi kam ho gaya iski wajha se 11 kg ka is time as per dctr kam hain weight plz suggest aisa ku ho raha hain pet check kiya tight ni hain soft hain but isse bhuk kam lag rhi hain

A. Cold most of the time is a viral illness where there could be running nose sneezing along with cough and it needs supportive care along with proper hydration . steam inhalation will also be useful in this . cough needs to be treated with anti allergic and expectorant bronchodilators or antitussives medicine which should be used once a proper evaluation by the doctor is done and according to the type of cough its prescribed. if any fever is thereh paracetamol can be given toy reduce the temperature and the dose can be repeated again after 6 hours if required .
