Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy1 Year agoA. Dear Madam, it is important to remember that every child learns at their own pace. At six years old, it is normal for some children to take longer to grasp reading. Various factors can contribute to this, such as individual learning styles, developmental readiness, and exposure to literacy activities at home. It is commendable that your daughter has now learned the alphabet and numbers, indicating progress. Patience and encouragement are key in this process. Providing a supportive environment, reading together, and incorporating fun activities can further enhance herd learning. Celebrate her achievements and continue to offer her opportunities to explore and practice reading skills to nurture her development.d
