A. Dear mum, this is just the beginning of baby trying top food, getting a taste of different flavors and textures. It takes time for baby to get used to top foods in addition to breast milk. it will require your patient and consistent efforts. keep trying frequently 3 to 4 times a day, in beginning baby my accept only few teaspoon but gradually not force feeding but singing rhymes or song try to increase amount consistency of food like that of the ghee is appropriate to provide correct nutrition, baby will get used to it introduce new food in day time when baby is likely to be more hungry. keep food ready and try at a time when baby maybe hungriest for example after he waking up do Not breastfeed before trying top food , keep some gap try one new food for 3 to 4 days for baby to accept before moving on to another food. Sometimes it may even take longer you may have to try one food for as many as 15 times for baby to get the flavour.. Avoid bottle feeding, it reduces appetite for top food.
