Q.

Hello Ma'am my baby is 22 days old. After he was born the next day he went to NICU for jaundice where feeding bottles were introduced to him. Then after his return we were giving him mostly top feed with 1-2 my breastmilk as he was not latching properly. Now again I have started trying to feed him directly from my breast from last 3 days. Now I am feeding him for 2-3 hours continuously(as he dozes off in between) and after my breast feed he still remains hungry and we have to give him top feed to fulfill his hunger. Also he takes entire 60ml from bottle after my breast feed. PS: My body is producing milk!

A. Hello, your baby boy is newborn just 22 days old and he had a neonatal jaundice so now okay then you should give him enough top milk as your breast milk is not enough for him
