hello I want to know about my newborn baby .. when he is 2 days old his bilirubin level is 11 and when I test my baby on 6 day his bilirubin level is 18 and then dr said to admit him but me and my baby is in village .. then I again tested my baby on 12 day his bilirubin level is again 11 then dr said keep him in sunlight... now he is 16 days old is his jaundice will go pls ans I m in village unable to check any dr

shreya goelMom of a 7 yr 6 m old boy4 years agoA. Hello mom Jaundice is very common in newborn babies. You have to take your baby out early morning. Because early morning sunlight is very beneficial for babies and it helps to cure the jaundice very fast. Rather than this you should definitely go for the test next few days to check the level.
