Q.

hello, i recently traveled to a new town and got my Son vaccinated as per his schedule for 1 year. he was given Biovac A for hepatitis A. My father took him for vaccination and they chose an injection site in lower arm. when I called them to check they said it was subqutaneous only. wanted to check if at all it makes a difference with injection site as I have never seen lower arm as injection site. will it affect the efficacy of vaccine. I am worried. it's a new city and a new clinic.

A. attached is the pic. the child is normal showing no issues. only thing that my father was saying that vaccination site which is lower arm should be of any concern or not. can you tell me putting subqutaneously in lower arm affects the efficacy of vaccine ?

A. not seen any pic. if this is of concern to you then I would request you to take help of a nearby doctor around you and best would be to clear any doubt about this issue to be assured for now .
