Q.

Hello I need urgent help My son is 4 months old - he is trying to put both his hands in his mouth.. when he's not able to he starts crying badly it seems he's teething and his gums are hurting.. tried giving him teether but he is not able to hold it He is crying a lot... not able to sleep.. just trying to suck his thumb and fingers .. when I put my finger he starts sucking it badly.. please suggest what I should give him

A. Hi yes this can be a sign for teething phase.. you can calm down your baby by gently massaging the gum pad area with clean finger tip or moist cold cotton cloth 3-4 times a day..this will increase the blood circulation and will hasten the eruption process
